A driver's license of this category means that a person has the right to drive passenger buses with more than 16 passenger seats, excluding the driver. This makes it possible to work in the field of public transport, tourism, etc.
To complete the theoretical part of the course, you will need internet access, a phone or laptop, the Zoom program, a notebook and a pen. You will need WhatsApp to chat with the group during the training. All the necessary training material is provided by the driving school.
The training program for obtaining the right to drive a passenger bus is almost the same as for driving a car. However, the practical part of the course is taken on a bus, which requires additional skills and experience. All of this is included in the program of our free Passenger Bus Driver training course.
To obtain a category D, you need at least three years of practical driving experience with a category B. This requirement is based on the fact that a bus driver is responsible for the lives of passengers. Therefore, he or she must be an experienced driver.
The Reskilling Ukraine project does not provide employment for graduates of retraining programs, but we make a lot of efforts to increase the chances of employment for our graduates. In particular, we introduce our participants to various employers who are looking for female drivers for their teams, creating a field for acquaintance and dialogue between them. This makes it easier to find a job after obtaining a category C driver's license. In addition, we organize excursions to enterprises and motor carrier companies so that participants can better understand the specifics of working as a driver. In addition, our graduates receive a weekly newsletter of current vacancies from our employer partners to ensure that they have access to all the most relevant opportunities on the labor market.
After completing the Bus Driver (Category D) course, you will receive our certificate and a driving license in the chosen category of training (provided you have successfully passed the driving test).
Various external factors can affect the success of the exam. With this in mind, we provide two attempts to pass the exam. You will have one more chance. And even if you fail again, you will be able to try to achieve your goal a little later, outside of our program. In our experience, it is your determination that matters. Overall, our students have a 96 percent exam pass rate. We believe in you!
