Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What does the CE category mean?

This category gives the right to drive a truck weighing 7.5 tons or more in combination with a trailer weighing more than 750 kg, which in total is an oversized vehicle.

Is it possible to combine studying at the course with work?

The program requires full engagement during the on-site training module, as well as at least 50 percent engagement during the internship and certification preparation. Therefore, we recommend that you plan this time in advance to ensure successful completion of the course.

How does a letter of recommendation affect the selection of participants?

A letter of recommendation significantly increases a candidate's chances of receiving free training as part of a retraining program. We have introduced this option with the intention of encouraging female candidates to take a more active position in their job search. We believe that a letter of recommendation indicates the seriousness of the candidate's intentions and her desire to work as a truck driver after completing the course.

How much driving experience do I need for CE driving courses?

To open this category, you need to have at least three years of experience in category B and a valid category C license. For our re-qualification program, experience in category C is desirable, but not a prerequisite.

Can I take part in the program if I already have a category C and want to get driving practice?

No. The training program does not provide for internships with an existing truck driving license. The retraining program is designed and implemented for those who do not yet have a driver's license of the above category.

Do I need to take the theory course and pass the test again if I have just successfully completed the Truck Driver course?

Yes. In the Truck and Trailer Driver course, you need to complete the full course of study, including the theoretical part, because there is more material about large vehicles and the peculiarities of driving large vehicles on the road. Similarly, there is a lot of new practice in the driving course.

Can I take part in the CE course if I have category B?

No. To take the Truck and Trailer Driving course, you need to have category C. The date of obtaining a driver's license to drive a truck is not important.

Can I take two courses (Truck Driving and Truck and Trailer Driving) in parallel?

No. To get into our Truck and Trailer Driver course, you need to have an already open category C. This is because the course is focused on refresher training for those who already have the said category. The training to open the CE category from scratch is twice as long and it is not included in the program of our free driving courses.
